The World’s Women in Denmark are extending an invitation for the photography exhibition ‘Love Across Borders’. The exhibition takes place at the World’s Center for Culture building during the annual Copenhagen Culture Night celebration. The exhibition will be open from 19:00 on the 12th of October and takes its focal point in the outstanding portraits of four happily mixed families. Our aim is to shed light upon the difficulties faced by individuals who find love and life companions outside of the Danish borders. Furthermore, the exhibition takes a look at what it means to feel happy in the present, and on how the current laws for uniting families suggest a lack of belief in the future for even the most sensible and clear headed people. People who for not a single day in their life, have burdened the state in any way and instead have always claimed responsibility for themselves.
We are excited to all of you who share an interest in this topic, and we will be offering a glass of wine and some complimentary fruit during your visit! This project has received support from Nørrebro lokaludvalg
